It was Super HUMID and warm again for the first Conference meet of the season. A few drops of rain when we first arrived at Unity so I left my phone in the car. Sorry I didn't get very many pictures. :(
The Boys ran first at 4:15 and they all worked really hard despite the heat and the humidity. It was not a day for PR's but a day to tough it out and do your best. The Unity Course is challenging both physically and mentally because of the hill in the woods and the long out and back portion of the course.
The Girls ran at 5:15 and they really Powered through the Race. We are so proud of all of them. They tackled this course and did their best. They came through with the W against Unity and Zeeland West. We are so excited for the rest of the season. :)
I shared this on Facebook earlier in the Day yesterday for the students, but is a great reminder for all of us. (runners, coaches, parents)
First Conference meet of the season Today. Let's Make sure that we are building up the kingdom of God even in the Small things that we do do today. Our Sportsmanship and Attitude tells a lot about who we are.
