Cougar Falcon

The Cougar Falcon is known for fast times and PR's. The weather was great for running and it was great to see so many of the runners have great races. 

We had 5 Races, Varsity Girls, Varsity Boys, JV Girls, JV Boys and Freshman. It was an awesome 2.5 hours of races, and so much fun to watch. 

HC Vs. Zeeland West at Unity

The Unity course is known for being challenging, the hill in the woods really challenges the runners mentally and physically. They really have to keep their heads in race and push themselves. 

A B C's of Running today well Backwards  Conceive it, Believe it, Achieve it, that is what we told them today before running. It showed that they really were listening as well, they all had great runs today and proved how strong all of our runners are.

HC Vs Unity @ HCHS

Great day for running, a little warm but Oh well, I think we are kind of getting used to the heat now. 

How did we end up ??? Well the Girls beat Unity taking 2,3,4, and Boys lost to Unity as Unity swept and took 1,2,3 in the race. *I will update this post when I have more details.

Holland Sentinel

Holland Christian sweeps Byron Center

In the boys race, the Maroons edged Byron Center 28-29. Luke Peterson finished fourth (17:32) and Nate Mulder was fourth (17:34), while Nate Schloff was sixth (17:54).

In the girls race, the Maroons won 23-27.

Maria Kuiper won in 19:41. Jill Parker (21:03) was fourth and Saskia Praamsma (21:06) was fifth.

HC Vs. Byron Center

Today's Race at Helder park, started out kind of hot and muggy and we are thankful for the breeze and the slight drizzle that cooled the air off a little when it came time for running. All of our runners did a great job today. It was awesome to see everyone giving it there best and really racing.

Unity
This was are first meet of the season and it what HOT and sticky. Everyone did a great job. The Coarse was challenging and the heat definitely played a part in slowing everyone down. Thanks to all the runners for staying positive and running hard. 

Orchard View 
Another Warm day at Orchard View. It great race for the runner to get a feel for running a 5k, it is a nice flat course, with varying terrain through the woods and trail and on the grass. We are looking forward to many great races to come.   

Christian School Invite
A quiet calm, cooler Saturday morning made for great racing conditions at the Christian School Invite. We were able to talk strategy and watch some great races. Thank You Madisyn for taking a ton of pictures at the meet.
